John Major Jenkins and the Age of Awakening
Ever heard of December 21, 2012?
Yes, maybe you did—back then. There was quite a fuss about that date just before it arrived, but then everything went quiet. After all, nothing happened. Or did it?
Do you know who made the date so famous? It was an American named John Major Jenkins. And do you know how he pulled it off? He managed to show mathematically that there were so many cosmic coincidences on that exact date that it simply couldn't be a fluke.
Providing mathematical proof for the Great Shift of the Mayan calendar was the life’s work of John Major Jenkins. He demonstrated that the Maya based their entire calendrical system on an extremely rare cosmic event—the Galactic Alignment. This alignment meant a final synchronization of the sun's path with the galactic equator, culminating around the winter solstice of 2012, a date that marked the end of an era of 26,000 years as well as the thirteenth age of that era. Jenkins also showed that the Maya had constructed their temples and pyramids to align with the positions of the sun and the stars during shifts—especially the great ones—in a way that could not possibly be a coincidence.
Of course, John Major Jenkins wouldn't have dedicated his life to a single cosmic moment had he not known what he was doing. He knew cosmic positions weren’t just hokus pokus. It was all about simple energy! And he knew the Maya had known the same. How could he be so sure? By own experience! This will be explained later on.
So, for good reason Jenkins (and others with him) saw this alignment as a gateway with the potential to transmit profound cosmic energy, making humanity uniquely receptive to a fundamental transformation.
Jenkins bridged the Mayan calendar with the Aztec cosmic system, which divides human history into five great eras, or 'Suns'. According to this view, we are currently navigating the fourth great shift in human history: the transition into the Fifth Sun—the Era of Movement, usually symbolized by the Aztec sun-cross with its eye in the center. To Jenkins, this meant the Age of Awakening. He proposed that as we align with the source of the galaxy, the 'filters' of previous eras dissolve, allowing us to finally see reality exactly as it is.
After December 21, 2012, the attention surrounding the Great Shift quickly faded. Many likely raised their eyebrows at Jenkins' calculations; many likely felt a sense of triumph. What they didn't know was that a process was already underway in the shadows—a process with the potential to realize John Major Jenkins' vision. As mentioned: Jenkins knew what he was doing.
According to Jenkins' calculations, a critical mass of conscious individuals will be reached by 2030. Could that be realistic? Yes, definitely! This site will show that Jenkins was right in his claims, and give the tools to make his vision come true.
The Fourth Shift is dedicated to the memory of John Major Jenkins.
